COMMUNITY AND SACRED HERBALISM with Heidi Merika  22 - 24 June

Community and Sacred Herbalism is a 3 day intensive plus 12 weeks online.


The 12 week Community and Sacred Herbalism course is designed to offer students a profound experience of earth-centred herbalism. From day one the
focus is on working with real plants, both physically and energetically, to create relationships of lasting communion and co-creation in the service of healing.

Bellbunya Community Open Time  - the second Saturday of each month

 From 1 to 5 pm



Come and
join us f
or a relaxed afternoon where you can have a cuppa and chat with
community members and others and participate in whatever activities are going on at Bellbunya on the day! It could be gardening or a craft session or a walk to the lagoon
through the bush regeneration area. 
Healing sessions may be available... A tour of the land and Community, Q&A with a Bellbunya community member is always an option.

Book yourself in for some rest and relaxation!


Spend a couple of nights or more with the Bellbunya Community. Relax and rejuvenate in the peaceful surrounds with friendly people. We also have many talented therapists here who are qualified and experienced in a range of modalities - have a session then spend some time relaxing at Bellbunya... Fill in the form and we'll be in touch.




What's going on around the place?

Hinterland Feijoas Farm Shop, gallery and Food Van open every Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm at 131 Browns Rd, Belli (right across the road from Bellbunya)
When the farm is open kids can run around, play with Sally and Peter’s mini-ponies Twinkle Toes and Smokey the Bandit, and the mini-goats Em and Ellie, and other farm animals. Organic tea and coffee, cakes and light lunches from Myrtle the retro coffee van, and also a great farm shop filled with artisan gifts and gourmet goodies from around the district.
 Group bookings are welcome from any interested parties, including clubs. Events can be tailored to suit your group’s needs, and can include morning or afternoon tea. Contact Sally on 0409 829 899 or 5447 0532 to book a time. Groups can come all year and any day by arrangement.

Weekend getaway idea .... Visit Eumundi Market on Saturday morning, come out to Belli for lunch at Hinterland Feijoas, book in to Bellbunya for Saturday night and have breakfast across the road at Hinterland Feijoas on Sunday morning! Sit around for a chat and light lunch then make your way home rejuvenated! On Saturday evening there are plenty of good eateries at Eumundi or join the community for dinner.

Belli Meet Up
is a weekly opportunity for Belli area neighbours to get together at the picnic shelter opposite
the Belli Park cafe at the corner of Browns Rd and Eumundi-Kenilworth Rd. Share a morning cuppa (grab a takeaway in your own mug) to start the day, chat, network, enjoy. It won't eat into your day - from 7 am every Thursday for an hour or so. Just turn up and meet your friendly neighbours.

Mary Valley Permaculture is a friendly and casual group of locals interested in growing food! Meetings monthly at the Ridgewood Hall on the Cooroy-Belli Rd near the Skyring Rd intersection, 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6.45 for 7 pm start. Gold coin to support the Hall. Sunspace Café at Doonan has a volunteer-driven vegetable garden and a friendly eatery, as well as hosting great events.

Yandina Community Gardens
demonstrate organic food production using Permaculture design principles.
·     Water-wise tropical vegetables are propagated in the nursery from stock grown in the gardens and are available for sale to the public.
·     The water-efficient aquaponics project produces organic vegetables and fish.
·     ‘Sustainable living’ projects demonstrate energy-efficiency and the use of renewable resources, for example the solar hot water and photo-voltaic systems on The Blue House roof and the’ straw bale shelter’ for the garden volunteers.

Permaculture Noosa  hold meetings every third Thursday of the month at the Cooroy State Primary School Hall, Elm St, Cooroy (on the way to Pomona) Doors open at 5.30pm when meals will be available before the meeting. A market takes place where surplus home grown pro-
duce and plants are shared by giving, exchanging or selling. Entry is a gold coin donation for non-members. The meeting begins at 6.30pm and the night is complete with a “bring a plate” shared supper at 8pm. All welcome. For further info phone Bill, 5472 5192.
